Hot, exotic, SFW parental sex!!!

by The Daddy on July 6, 2011

…or the lack thereof.

Amazing how your priorities change in life. I had expected some of the obvious modifications to the general day to day lifestyle, but I hadn’t forseen how many different ways our interests would change with the kid.

In this case, sex has become something that there needs to be extra energy for. I used to think that it would always be a great thing, any time, any place, but when you’re barely scraping together enough energy to stay awake, you have to…prioritize. It hasn’t and won’t disappear entirely, but it definitely has to be the right time.

I learned quickly that sex was something that happened during leisure time in our relationship. Now that there is less of that. . . you get the picture. Wait it out?

Yeah, this is familiar these days. When the kid is sleeping regularly it’s a different story, but for now…yep!

And isn’t it funny how spontaneity is usually right out? Us parents really do have to discuss the possibility of sex in advance. Kinda lame. But, temporary, I’m sure!

Yeah, the spontaneity has diminished a bit. While we want to make sure sex is still an important part of the marriage, it has fallen into so many of the categories of stuff around the house that require planning. I’m thinking it’s temporary too. Right? RIGHT???

Watch out when they are older. Because then you get situations where you wake up, are feeling well rested and begin… only to have a little one come into your room and try to climb into your bed. Part of you wants to be a good parent and play with your kid but part of you wants that kid out of the room ASAP!!! Get!!! Shoo!!!! NOW!!!!

You speak truth, except we are at computers

I loved this. We have five kids and the youngest two are 3 year old twins. If they can just sleep in their own beds and through the night once in while we will be okay.
